* fix(gateway): bound startup history materialization
Apply SQLite byte limits before loading history payloads and share a yielded, fingerprinted Claude CLI snapshot across concurrent startup clients. Preserve marker, cursor, redaction, and external identity semantics, and clarify that shrink-only ratchet updates need no separate approval.

* feat(workers): run device sessions from Gateway bundles
Install the current Gateway bundle before a device environment becomes ready, verify it at attach and tunnel boundaries, launch only from the immutable namespaced bundle directory, and retire stale environments for idempotent reprovisioning. Remove the local execution mode and preserve the node-local build claim only as temporary inventory metadata for the final projection/cleanup slice.

* fix(workers): surface outdated node recovery
Keep legacy runner inventory diagnostic-only while exposing the update-and-reconnect action through node, environment, provider, placement, and Control UI surfaces.

* feat(browser): sync system cookies to a remote gateway profile
Add `openclaw browser cookie-sync`: decrypt allowlisted macOS Chrome-family
cookies locally and push them into a managed profile on a possibly-remote
Gateway over the existing operator channel. --watch re-syncs on cookie-DB
changes with a single Keychain prompt per session.
- New POST /cookies/set-many batch route (mirrors /cookies/set)
- Extract one canonical readSystemProfileCookies reused by import + sync
- Mandatory domain allowlist (never syncs an unrestricted cookie jar)
- Decryption stays host-local (macOS); no cookie values are logged
* feat(macos): cookie sync checkbox and configuration UI
Add an off-by-default 'Cookie sync' section (Settings > General): a toggle, an
editable domain allowlist editor, and a target-profile field, actionable only in
remote-gateway mode. CookieSyncManager supervises `openclaw browser cookie-sync
--watch` against the connected Gateway when enabled, resolving a LOCAL CLI (never
the SSH-redirect path, since decryption is host-local) and injecting gateway
URL + token/password via environment, never argv. A status row surfaces
running/stopped/error and the last sync summary.
* fix(macos): satisfy cookie sync lint gates
* chore(i18n): register cookie sync native source strings
Regenerate apps/.i18n/native-source.json baseline for the new macOS Cookie
sync settings strings (additive only). Satisfies the native:i18n:verify gate;
generated locale artifacts are refreshed separately by the locale-refresh job.
* fix(docker): harden runtime image dependencies
* chore(deps): update container security dependencies
* docs(docker): explain image security contents
* test(browser): align file-chooser and install tests with #114506 contract
* test(browser): restore extension install test isolation
* test(browser): add temporary CI diagnostics for pre-registration refusal
* test(browser): make install fixture interpreter hermetic
The suite passed process.execPath as the native-host interpreter; on
GitHub-hosted runners the hostedtoolcache node binary is group/world-
writable, which installChromeExtensionBootstrap correctly refuses, so
every registration test failed CI-only. The fixture now provides an
owned 0700 interpreter; only the launcher-exec test keeps the real
node it must spawn.
* fix(qa-lab): stop re-polling after a probe consumes the discovery deadline
The Matrix health-probe loop re-entered when the probe timeout fired
marginally before Date.now() crossed the deadline, starting a doomed
extra probe. Flaked on contended CI runners as 'expected 1 fetch, got
2'. A timed-out probe now ends discovery.
* test(ui): poll the callout inset invariant in device-scope E2E
One-shot boundingBox reads raced the nav-collapse transition and
intermittently measured a 20px stale offset on CI.
* refactor: consolidate coercion ownership
Centralize four canonical coercion helpers, migrate exact core and plugin duplicates through narrow Plugin SDK facades, and enforce declaration and plugin-normalization ownership boundaries.
The sweep adds eight focused SDK exports while deleting more production and tooling code than it adds. User-visible behavior is unchanged except for safer equivalent object and UI parsing at existing boundaries.
* fix: guard integer option ownership
Register resolveIntegerOption with the canonical function owner and extend the declaration-guard fixture so future local duplicates fail validation.
* fix: keep integer helpers on numeric facade
Remove the unshipped duplicate string-coerce exports and route every affected plugin consumer through the existing number-runtime contract.
* fix: point numeric coercion to number runtime
Make boundary and declaration diagnostics recommend the canonical numeric facade, with failing-before coverage for both guidance paths.
Both snapshot renderers walked accessibility trees recursively with no
default depth bound: the chrome-mcp builder only honored maxDepth when
callers passed one, and the CDP renderRoleTree had no limit at all. A
pathologically nested page could overflow the call stack and grow
indent output quadratically before any output truncation ran. Add a
generous hard depth bound (100) to both traversal paths.
* fix(browser): bound batch action nesting depth in act request normalization
normalizeActRequest recursed over batch nesting with no depth bound, so a
~1MB POST /act body with tens of thousands of nested batch levels parsed
fine and then crashed normalization with RangeError: Maximum call stack
size exceeded before the ACT_MAX_BATCH_ACTIONS count check could run,
surfacing an internal stack overflow as the 400 validation message.
Thread the existing ACT_MAX_BATCH_DEPTH limit through normalizeBatchAction/
normalizeActRequest and reject deeper nesting up front with a clear
'batch nesting exceeds maximum depth of 5' error, matching the bound the
Playwright executor already enforces at dispatch time.
* fix(browser): match batch depth executor boundary
Accept the six wrapper levels supported by the Playwright executor and reject the seventh during request normalization.
