* feat(anthropic): gate live model discovery on contract coverage
Live catalog discovery cloned a template for any newly discovered Claude id, so
a future model generation would be selectable while request shaping treated it
as pre-4.6 and 400d. Add an opt-in acceptUnknownModel gate to the shared live
catalog seam and have the Anthropic plugin accept a discovered model only when
Anthropic's advertised capabilities agree with the contracts we would apply.
Manifest-published ids bypass the gate and keep their metadata.

* docs(plugins): document the live-discovery admission hook
Record acceptUnknownModel in the provider-plugin SDK reference: when to use
it, that manifest-published ids bypass it, and the fail-closed guidance.

Main already resolves bare opus to Claude Opus 5 but documents nothing about
the rolling behavior. State that bare family aliases follow the current
generation and that pinning is the opt-out, and add regression coverage
separating bare aliases, pinned aliases, and retired-ref upgrades.

* feat(anthropic): add Claude Opus 5 model support
Wire claude-opus-5 through the Claude 5 contract seams: adaptive-by-default
thinking with the full low..max effort range, default-sampling and prefill
stripping, streaming refusal contract, model-bound thinking replay, and 1M/128k
catalog metadata across anthropic, claude-cli, Vertex, Bedrock, and Mantle.

* fix(anthropic-vertex): normalize explicit Vertex Opus 5 model rows
Extend normalizeAnthropicVertexResolvedModel so user-configured Vertex Opus 5
rows regain reasoning, image input, 1M/128k limits, and the native thinking
map; update the live-model priority expectation and regenerate docs_map.

* fix(anthropic): accept "cli" entrypoint in Claude session catalog discovery
Claude Code v2.x writes entrypoint: "cli" in its JSONL session files.
Previously only "sdk-cli" was recognized, causing all v2.x sessions to
be silently skipped.
Extract CLI_ENTRYPOINTS set and isCliEntrypoint() helper, then apply
the same fix to both TypeScript catalog and macOS paired-node native
catalog. Add matching regression coverage on both platforms.
Closes#105164
* fix(anthropic): refresh Claude CLI session discovery
Apply the reviewed cli/sdk-cli allowlist, mirrored negative coverage, and fallback-scope documentation to current main.

The Codex/Claude sidebar sections leaked long titles across the row
timestamps and past the sidebar edge because the row body was never a
flex container, so the title span stayed inline and ellipsis rules did
not apply. The sections also rendered every loaded session (Codex swept
up to 100 catalog pages per host every 30s) with no height cap, growing
past the sidebar shell and painting over the footer.
Rows now reuse the regular session-row __text anatomy so titles
ellipsize, the sidebar renders only the newest 10 sessions per host
with a derived truncation note (the full catalog stays on the sessions
page), each section shrinks and scrolls inside the sidebar body, and
the shell body clips as a final guard. The sidebar full-catalog
hydration loop and the one-off __body class are deleted.

Fixes#104584
Claude Fable 5 requests on direct Anthropic API keys now opt into Anthropic's server-side fallback (server-side-fallback-2026-06-01): a safety-classifier decline is re-served by claude-opus-4-8 inside the same call instead of failing the turn with "LLM request failed.". Mid-stream boundaries drop the declined model's thinking/tool blocks per Anthropic's replay contract, keep the partial text as the continuation prefix, record a provider_fallback diagnostic, and cost the turn at the serving model's rates. Docs lead with the coupling: using Fable 5 means also using Opus 4.8. OAuth, proxies, Bedrock, Vertex, and Foundry requests are unchanged.
Live-verified: a benign reasoning_extraction classifier decline through the product path returns an Opus-served answer with the provider_fallback diagnostic; exact-head CI green (67 checks).

Summary:
- The branch adds Docker-specific Claude CLI persistence guidance and cross-links it from the CLI backend and Anthropic provider docs.
- PR surface: Docs +101. Total +101 across 3 files.
- Reproducibility: not applicable. as a bug reproduction. Source inspection confirms the current docs gap and the PR examples match existing Docker, config, and Claude CLI backend contracts.

* feat(anthropic): migrate 1M context from beta to GA
Anthropic has graduated the 1M context window from beta to GA.
This commit:
- Stops injecting the context-1m-2025-08-07 beta header when
context1m: true is configured
- Removes the OAuth token skip logic that was needed because
Anthropic previously rejected the context-1m beta with OAuth auth
(OAuth now supports 1M natively)
- Strips the legacy beta header from user-configured anthropicBeta
arrays to prevent sending a stale header
- Removes the now-unused isAnthropic1MModel helper,
ANTHROPIC_1M_MODEL_PREFIXES constant, and logger import from
the stream wrappers
The context1m config param continues to be respected for context
window sizing in context.ts — only the beta header injection is
removed.

Ayaan's 28e4cd81a9 (#70863, thanks @bidadh, source from Arthur Kazemi
8abbae0101) extended params.context1m:true so the configured 1M
context window override now applies to eligible Claude CLI Opus and
Sonnet models, not only direct API calls. CHANGELOG entry covered
the change but docs/providers/anthropic.md '1M context window (beta)'
Accordion only described direct-API behavior, so Claude CLI users had
no signal the same param works for their backend. Add a sentence
inside the same Accordion.
