* test(unit-fast): isolate computer-tool.test-helpers consumers
The unit-fast shard classifier recognizes "stateful" test helpers
(those whose source trips a disqualifying pattern such as `vi.mock(`
or top-level dynamic `import`) via `statefulTestHelperImportPattern`,
so that tests importing them are routed to the isolated pool instead
of the shared `isolate:false` pool.
`computer-tool.test-helpers` was missing from that pattern, even though
the helper sets up `vi.mock("./gateway.js")`, `vi.mock("./nodes-utils.js")`
and uses top-level `await import(...)` — i.e. it is stateful. Its
consumers (`computer-tool.v2/schema/context.test.ts`) therefore
classified with empty `reasons`, fell into the `isolate:false` pool,
and relied on `vi.mock` against a shared module registry. When another
test file loaded the real `./gateway.js` / `./nodes-utils.js` in the
same worker first, the mock was bypassed and `computer-tool.v2.test.ts`
threw `GatewayCredentialsRequiredError: gateway node.list requires
credentials` for all 8 of its cases — while passing in isolation.
Add `computer-tool\.test-helpers` to the pattern (mirroring the existing
`message-action-runner\.test-helpers` entry) so consumers are routed to
the isolated pool where the mock is honored.
Verified on `main` (`83d279a`), Node 24.15.0:
- Before: `pnpm test:unit:fast` -> 8 failures in
`src/agents/tools/computer-tool.v2.test.ts` (`GatewayCredentialsRequiredError`);
the file passes alone (8/8).
- After: the three consumers classify `inIsolated=true`; `pnpm test:unit:fast`
no longer runs them in the shared pool; the suite's only remaining
failures are unrelated (`test/ui.presenter-next-run.test.ts` locale,
`test/scripts/resolve-openclaw-ref.test.ts` git version) and the
computer-tool suite passes (16/16) under `vitest --isolate`.

narrowIncludePatterns returned the caller's CLI pattern whenever it overlapped
a lane's include list, instead of intersecting the two. A directory argument
therefore replaced the lane's curated scope with a broad glob:
pnpm test src/plugins
-> unit-fast include became ["src/plugins/**/*.test.*"] instead of its
60 curated files
-> contracts-plugin include became ["src/plugins/**/*.test.*"] instead of
["src/plugins/contracts/**/*.test.ts"]
Both lanes run isolate: false, so every re-admitted file shared a worker with
unrelated files. unit-fast re-admitted exactly the files it excludes for being
stateful (module mocking, dynamic import, filesystem state), and contracts-plugin
pulled in every sibling test outside contracts/. That produced nondeterministic
cross-file pollution: failures that moved between files and lanes run to run,
reproduced in neither isolation nor CI.
Keep the lane's own pattern when it is rooted deeper than the CLI selection,
otherwise keep the CLI pattern. Equal-depth selections are unchanged, so the
existing scoped-config expectations still hold.
Coverage is unchanged; only duplicate execution is removed. `pnpm test src/plugins`
went from 1171 file-executions (3.4x duplication over 346 files) to 344 — the two
remaining files are .e2e.test.ts, excluded by the shared config by design.
* fix(macos): make the whole AI candidate row clickable and clear stale exhausted verdicts
Live-testing pick-during-testing on 2026-08-11 showed clicks on a candidate
row's blank stretch (between the title/subtitle texts or over the spacer)
silently doing nothing: plain-style buttons only hit-test opaque label
pixels. A user trying to pick Claude Code while Codex auto-tests can click
the visually highlighted row and get no outcome. .contentShape(Rectangle())
makes the full row hit-test.
Also, after auto-candidates exhaust, a user-picked retest left the stale
"None of the found options worked" card up while the new test visibly ran;
userSelect now clears exhaustedAutoCandidates when a fresh attempt begins.

Main went red when #121923 rewrote the outbound poll tests to be
order-independent and removed their stateful helper import/file; this
lane-config test hardcoded both as stateful-helper classification
fixtures. Folded into this PR per red-main landing policy.

system-agent. Gateway methods crestodian.* -> openclaw.chat/openclaw.setup.*,
agent tool -> openclaw, reserved agent ids openclaw + retired crestodian.

Codex-style retention: deleting or resetting a session archives its
transcript as a zstd-compressed JSONL artifact (plain when the runtime
lacks node:zlib zstd) and keeps it until the disk budget evicts oldest
first. resetArchiveRetention now governs both deleted and reset archives
and defaults to keep; maxDiskBytes defaults to 2gb so retention stays
bounded, with archives evicted before live sessions. The cron reaper
follows the same knob instead of deleting archives on its own timer.
* fix(state): converge agent DB migration lineages and bound database growth
Merge coherence: run both structure-gated legacy memory-schema repairs
(flip-lineage drop, main-lineage identity rebuild) before the flip
migration so pre-flip v1/v2 and pre-merge flip v1/v4 databases all
converge, and hoist foreign_keys=OFF outside the schema transaction
where the pragma was silently ignored and the v1 sessions rebuild
cascade-deleted session_entries.
Growth guards: fresh agent DBs enable auto_vacuum=INCREMENTAL, WAL
maintenance releases freed pages in bounded passes (never a blocking
full VACUUM), and doctor reports state/agent DB bloat from freelist
stats.

The supervision catalog passed the legacy sessionFile locator to the

missing-session-id preprocessing case: sessions rows are NOT NULL on
session_id and upsert repairs id-less patches at write time.

Restored backups, moved OPENCLAW_STATE_DIR, and rehearsal copies carry
absolute sessionFile paths from the old root; the containment fallback
kept those foreign paths, so migration read (and would archive) files in
the original root and reported local copies missing. Re-root the
canonical agents/<id>/sessions suffix onto the current dir when the file
exists there; genuine cross-root layouts still fall through unchanged.

The migration is the sanctioned offline window: post-import compact
reclaims import churn and applies auto_vacuum=INCREMENTAL to databases

* fix(test): make unit tests hermetic against host config and build state
Two host-state leaks made the full suite fail deterministically on developer
and agent machines while CI stayed green:
- Built checkouts: bundled-plugin manifest discovery prefers dist/extensions,
which by design excludes externalized official plugins (e.g. qwen). Tests
that depend on manifest-driven endpoint classification (DashScope cases in
media-understanding and model-compat) failed in any checkout after
pnpm build. test-env now pins OPENCLAW_BUNDLED_PLUGINS_DIR to the source
extensions tree (with the vitest trust opt-in) so discovery matches CI
regardless of local build state; discovery tests keep managing the env
per case.
- unit-fast shards: setupFiles was empty, so auto-curated tests that read
config saw the developer's real ~/.openclaw/openclaw.json; any key the
branch schema rejects failed those tests. unit-fast and
unit-fast-fake-timers now load a minimal env-isolation setup
(test/setup.env.ts) that installs the isolated test home without the
shared setup's module mocks.
