From dc5877f398316969299ee03800f3d07c7d98a9ab Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: rbalsleyMSFT <53497092+rbalsleyMSFT@users.noreply.github.com> Date: Thu, 28 Aug 2025 13:56:54 -0700 Subject: [PATCH] Removes the VM workaround for MCT ESD builds Comments out the logic that forces app installation when building from a downloaded ESD file. This workaround was implemented to prevent an OOBE reboot loop but is no longer required. This should speed up scenarios where you want to download the ESD media, install the latest CU and .NET CU, and capture the FFU. --- FFUDevelopment/BuildFFUVM.ps1 | 8 ++++---- 1 file changed, 4 insertions(+), 4 deletions(-) diff --git a/FFUDevelopment/BuildFFUVM.ps1 b/FFUDevelopment/BuildFFUVM.ps1 index 259ae95..00186ba 100644 --- a/FFUDevelopment/BuildFFUVM.ps1 +++ b/FFUDevelopment/BuildFFUVM.ps1 @@ -4499,10 +4499,10 @@ if ($InstallApps) { #Override $InstallApps value if using ESD to build FFU.
